Who We Are
Jozafo produces 3D visualisations of interiors, furniture and standalone objects for clients across Manchester. We turn floor plans, sketches and product references into rendered images that show how a space or an item will actually look before anything is built or bought.
How the Studio Started
Jozafo was set up in 2012 by a small group of people who had been working separately as freelance renderers for architecture firms around Manchester. Rather than continuing to bid against each other for the same jobs, they decided to combine their equipment and client lists into one studio based on Chorlton Road. In the first two years the work was mostly limited to single rooms for kitchen fitters and small architecture practices. As word spread, requests started coming in for full properties, retail displays and product mock-ups for local manufacturers.
Fourteen years on, the studio has grown to 13 people covering modelling, texturing, lighting and animation. Over that time we have completed 1,937 separate visualisation jobs for 1,638 clients, and 299 of them have come back for a second or third project. That return rate matters more to us than the raw job count: it usually means the first render did what it was supposed to do, which is help someone make a decision with confidence.
What We Are Trying to Do
Our aim is straightforward: give people an accurate picture of a room, product or layout before money is spent on building or manufacturing it. A render is not decoration for a brochure. It is a working document that a client, a builder and a supplier can all look at and agree on before anything gets cut, poured or ordered.
We currently offer 7 services, from single-room interior visualisation to product renders for online listings and short walkthrough animations for larger developments. We work across 5 districts in and around Manchester, and most enquiries get a reply within 8 hours, usually the same working day.
What Guides the Work
Measured Accuracy
Every render is built to the dimensions on the plan or the actual product measurements. We do not stretch a room to make it look bigger or adjust proportions to flatter a design.
Plain Communication
We explain what a render can and cannot show at this stage of a project, and we say so directly rather than leaving a client to find out later.
Consistent Turnaround
Deadlines are agreed before work starts and reviewed openly if the brief changes, so there are no surprises near the delivery date.
Questions People Ask Us
Is Jozafo an architecture or design firm?
No. We produce visual images of spaces and objects based on plans, briefs or product data supplied by architects, designers, retailers or private clients. We do not design layouts or draw up building plans ourselves.
Do you only work on interiors?
Interiors make up a large part of the work, but we also render individual furniture pieces, fittings and retail products for clients who need images for online listings, packaging mock-ups or catalogues.
How experienced is the team?
The studio has operated continuously since 2012, with a core team that has worked together for most of that period. Between us we have handled just under 2,000 individual jobs, ranging from single rooms to full property developments.
